Elizabeth Hibbs Keckley

Elizabeth Hibbs Keckley was a successful seamstress and became the personal dresser for Mary Todd Lincoln. She started her own seamstress business designing for the political elite.

Ann Lowe was an established fashion designer in the 1950’s and would sketch and design debutante and wedding dresses for high society clientele.
