Do you have any old sweaters that you don’t wear anymore? If you said yes, then read on. 

Infinity scarves are hot right now and everyone is wearing them. You can upcycle one of your sweaters and turn it into an infinity scarf. It’s the same process if you want to make a neck warmer.
Here’s how I did it.
Material needed:
Sweater

Rotary Cutter or Sharp Scissors


Lay your sweater flat on hard surface and cut straight across the width of the sweater (just below the armpit).


Your sweater should look like this when you try it on.

Do you do anything to prevent fraying or do you recommend a particular fabric to prevent this?

I use Fray Check by Dritz to stop fraying, serge or sew the edges. For this project, I would recommend cotton fabrics.
