This is my first DIY Palazzo Pant project in a long time.  I completed this project about a month ago, but haven’t been able to upload the photos from my cell phone.  Here’s how I did it.

Items needed:

Pair of jeans
Scissors
Sewing Machine
Pins
Fabric Marker
Elastic band or string

I used a pair of jeans to make my pattern by tracing it with a fabric marker and then cut.

Then I placed the right sides together and sewed the pant leg down to the bottom.

Next, I turned one leg right side out and placed the wrong side of the other leg inside and pinned them together beginning  in the inner seam.

I added an elastic to the waistband and hemmed at the bottom (Sorry, that I do not have picture of this).

When adding an elastic band, measure it and make sure you have enough fabric to cover it, pin and sew leaving about an inch at the end.  I used a safety pin at one end of the elastic band and inserted it into the hem and then attached them and sewed together.  At the end, I stitched the one inch opening closed.

Completed!
